Eligibility
India-Women in Leadership (i-WIL) welcomes applications from women across the country with a shared commitment towards evolving an inclusive political space for women in India.
Target Audience and Selection Criteria:
i-WIL programme is targeted at women with a keen interest in politics.
Mandatory requirements:
- Age: 21 years and above
- Bachelors Degree
Preference will be given to candidates with degrees in social sciences or law or political science; prior experience in politics or civil society or advocacy groups; and candidates from political families.

Selection Criteria
Applicants to the India-Women in Leadership (i-WIL) programme are required to submit the following for consideration:

- One (1) reference letter from a professional, academic or political colleague

Application Procedure
India-Women in Leadership (i-WIL) accepts participants based on a rigorous selection process. To be considered for the programme, candidates must submit an application package to the following address:

Late applications and applications submitted by fax or email will not be accepted.
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted 15 days after the application deadline and invited to New Delhi or Bangalore for a personal interview with the programme selection committee. Interviews may take place via Skype only under extenuating circumstances and at the discretion of the committee.
Following the interview, all shortlisted candidates will be notified of their acceptance, rejection, or waitlisted status at least 30 days before the course commences. Accepted candidates will also receive a formal letter of acceptance by post. Candidates who have been waitlisted will also be notified if their status changes.

Financial Aid
A limited number of participants may be eligible to receive partial or full scholarships to help cover costs associated with the India-Women in Leadership (i-WIL) programme. Requests for financial aid are judged according to need and also depend on availability of resources.
Applicants seeking financial aid are also strongly encouraged to apply to external sponsors for funding.
